Doug Gardei's Flights
Orion's Spear A8-5
Orion's Spear B6-6
Orion's Spear C6-7
Echostar C6-0/C6-7

My LOC Magnum takes off with an AMW J500 and dual Aerotech G64's.

First launch of the year lasted till about 1pm, when the rain started getting too heavy. I logged in four flights. First three was a beta test rocket from Vertical Force Rocketry called the Odin's Spear. Flew it three times with a A8-5, then B6-6, then C6-7. Then I launched my Echostar with a C6-0/C6-7. I was expecting it to weathercock, so I launched it straight up.... flew straight as an arrow... and the sustainer landed on the other side of the woods... Doh!

Liam made a surprise appearance and brought one rocket. A Quest Flying Saucer. He launched it many times on C6 motors, and then borrowed a RMS 18/20 and a D13 from me. What a great flight.

I went ahead and set up the super pad, which was worth the effort because Neil came with a Nike Smoke loaded with an I285R. He also used it to fly his PML Tethys on an H148R.

Something I noticed that is interesting... people seem to know that I usually have something they need at the launches. Lamart happened to notice some kids loading a RMS motor... but put the nozzle in backwards... so he dismantled the motor and noticed the delay o-ring was missing... so he comes to my table and ask if I had any delay o-rings for a F40. I was in the middle of helping Liam with his motor, so I said I don't think I do, but give me a minute and I’ll check. Once I got what I was doing down, I went to my delay bin and dug around... sure enough... I had two. Two kids were very happy ^^.
